This wall-mounted wine and glass rack is a 12 bottle, 7 goblet metal shelf that stores bottles horizontally and hangs stemware beneath, off the counter and on display. Bottles stored upright in a cupboard dry their corks out; glasses stored in a cupboard collect dust in the bowl. This 80 centimetre Calmility rack solves both at once on one stretch of wall: twelve bottles lying horizontally with their corks in contact with the wine, and seven goblets hanging stem-down where nothing settles inside them.

It is as much display as storage, which is the honest reason to wall-mount wine rather than shelve it. The two-layer steel frame with its crossbar design holds the bottles at a consistent angle so the labels face out, and the glasses hanging beneath turn the corner of a kitchen or a dining room into something that reads as a small bar. Storing bottles horizontally also frees the cupboard they were in, which in most kitchens is a full shelf recovered for something that genuinely needs a door.
