This wooden monitor stand with drawer is a desk riser and laptop organizer that lifts a screen to eye level and adds a drawer in the space underneath. The drawer is the part that separates it from a plain block of wood. At 27 by 4.5 centimetres it takes pens, cables, sticky notes, a phone and the small things that otherwise live in a pile beside the screen — out of sight but reachable without getting up, which is where most desk clutter actually belongs. Raising the screen also opens up the desk underneath for a keyboard, a notebook or a laptop on a stand, so the riser gives back more surface than its own base takes up.
