Description
This wall-mounted microwave shelf is a stainless steel kitchen rack with hooks that lifts a microwave or air fryer off the counter and hangs utensils underneath. A microwave takes the single most useful piece of worktop in most kitchens. This Calmility shelf puts it on the wall instead, freeing the counter underneath for actual food preparation, and the six hooks along the front edge pick up the utensils, mugs and tea towels that were also competing for that space.
At 53 by 38 by 18 centimetres the board takes a standard domestic microwave with clearance around it, and at 30 kilograms of maximum load it will hold one comfortably. It also works as a general shelf for an air fryer, a bread bin or a coffee machine if the microwave eventually moves elsewhere — the hooks stay useful either way. Getting the appliance off the counter also makes the worktop easier to clean, because there is no longer a heavy box to lift and a ring of crumbs underneath it.
It is stainless steel throughout, around 2 kilograms in weight, and arrives with six hooks, dowels and screws for installation. Brick, concrete and stud walls are all fine with the correct fixings. Plasterboard with nothing behind it needs a stud or heavy duty anchors.
