This folding over-sink drying rack is an iron dish drainer and colander basket that rolls out across the sink to drain and rolls up out of the way when the sink is needed. In a small kitchen the sink is the only spare surface, and a drying rack on the counter takes the last of the worktop. This Calmility rack bridges the sink itself, so dishes drain straight into the basin and you get the counter back. When you need the sink, it rolls or folds away against the splashback instead of being carried somewhere else.
It does three jobs. As a drainer it takes bowls, pans, glasses, plates, cutlery and mugs; as a colander it holds fruit and vegetables under the tap and drains them without a second bowl; and as a non-slip trivet it takes a hot pan straight off the hob. For a flat or a first kitchen that combination replaces three separate things. In a flat with one small sink and no dishwasher, that combination genuinely saves a cupboard, which is worth more than the individual functions suggest on their own.

It spans standard single and double sinks, resting on the edges on either side. Because it rolls, a little extra length simply overhangs the counter lip.

Can I put a hot pan on it?
Yes. It is heat resistant enough to work as a trivet, so a pan can come off the stove and rest straight on it.

How do I clean it?
