This 9-rod pull-out trouser rack is a side-mount wardrobe pants hanger that slides out from the wardrobe wall, holding nine pairs crease-free in the width of a shelf. Trousers folded over a hanger crease at the knee, and trousers in a drawer crease everywhere. This side-mounted Calmility rack slides out of the wardrobe like a drawer with nine flocked rods, so nine pairs hang full length, uncreased, and each one pulls off without disturbing the eight beside it.
Flocking on the bars is the detail that stops trousers sliding off, which is the failure mode of every cheap chrome pants rack. The slide takes 35 pounds, enough for nine pairs of jeans, and it mounts on the wardrobe side wall rather than the rail, so it uses the dead vertical space beside your hanging clothes instead of competing with it. Because the rack sits inside the wardrobe rather than protruding from it, the door still closes normally and nothing is visible when it is shut, which is not true of the over-rail hangers it usually replaces.
