Description

This 24 egg drawer storage box holds two dozen eggs in two pull out drawers behind a clear front, so a carton never has to come out of the fridge again. Egg cartons are the problem: they do not stack reliably, they tear, and the only way to see what is left is to open the lid and look.

Two drawers is what makes it work day to day. Pull the lower one for the older eggs and leave the upper one untouched, rather than lifting a lid and shuffling a whole tray to reach the back. Each drawer takes twelve, so you can load a new dozen above and work through the old dozen below without ever mixing them. The clear body means a glance from across the kitchen tells you how many are left, which is the thing a cardboard carton can never do.

At 21.5 by 22 by 14 centimetres it sits on a standard fridge shelf without claiming the whole thing, and the flat top takes another box stacked on it. The drawers lift out for washing and the moulded egg wells hold each one upright so nothing rolls when the door swings. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Free US shipping on every order, with 30 day returns and refunds.

Lower drawer pulled open on a fridge shelf while the upper drawer stays closed

Two Drawers, Not One Lid

Open the lower drawer for the older dozen and the upper one stays shut and undisturbed. No lifting a lid, no shuffling a tray to reach the back, no guessing which eggs went in first.

Two egg drawer boxes stacked on a kitchen counter

Two Dozen, One Shelf

At 21.5 by 22 centimetres it takes a quarter of a standard fridge shelf, and the flat top carries a second box. Two cartons of eggs in the footprint of one, and nothing sliding about.

Every Egg In Its Own Well

The moulded trays hold each egg upright so none roll when the door swings. Both drawers lift out for washing, which a cardboard carton has never managed.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many eggs does it actually hold?

Twenty four, twelve in each drawer, so exactly two supermarket cartons. Large eggs seat fine in the wells; buyers of this design consistently report it takes big ones without forcing.

Will it fit on a normal fridge shelf?

It is 21.5cm wide, 22cm deep and 14cm tall, which clears a standard shelf with room to slide the drawers. Measure your shelf height first if you plan to stack two, since that needs 28cm.

Why two drawers rather than one big tray?

It keeps your dozens separate. Load a fresh carton into the top drawer and work through the older one underneath, and you never have to remember which egg came from which shop trip.

Can I stack more than one?

Yes. The top is flat and sized to take a second box, so two gives you forty eight eggs in a single footprint. Both still open independently once stacked.

How do I clean it?

Both drawers slide right out, so a cracked egg is a two minute job rather than a write off. Wash in warm soapy water, wipe the outer shell with a damp cloth, and let everything dry before reloading.
